Sales Manager - MICE

Role Overview

The Mission

• Develop and execute sales strategies for MICE, group, and event business.
• Build partnerships with corporate clients, event agencies, DMCs, PCOs, and industry partners.
• Conduct sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, presentations, networking activities, and industry events.
• Manage enquiries from first contact through proposals, negotiations, confirmations, and handovers.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts, packages, and solutions that meet client needs and commercial objectives.
• Monitor pipeline, revenue forecasts, conversion rates, and performance, reporting updates to the Director of Sales.
• Track Dubai MICE trends, competitors, venues, and industry developments to identify opportunities.
• Coordinate with Revenue, Marketing, Events, Food and Beverage, Reservations, Front Office, and Operations.
• Follow up before, during, and after events to drive satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of hospitality sales experience is required.
• A strong focus on MICE, events, or group business is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Dubai market is required.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and organizational skills are required.
• Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and hotel systems is required.
• Flexibility to meet clients and attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions is required.
