The Sales Team Manager is responsible for leading, developing and scaling a high-performing sales team.
This role is focused on coaching, performance management, strategy execution and team development, ensuring the team consistently achieves and exceeds revenue targets.
You will work closely with senior leadership to drive sales performance, optimise processes and build a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
This is a leadership role with a strong focus on enabling team success rather than individual contribution.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of sales professionals, driving high performance and accountability across the function.
- Set clear objectives, KPIs and performance expectations, regularly reviewing progress and implementing improvement plans where required.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews and coaching sessions to support individual growth and maximise team effectiveness.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor team pipeline health, forecasting accuracy and overall sales performance, ensuring targets are achieved consistently.
- Support the team throughout complex sales cycles, providing guidance on stakeholder management, negotiation strategies and deal progression.
- Identify skills gaps and implement training and development initiatives to continuously elevate team capability.
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture that reflects Qashio's values and encourages collaboration, resilience and ownership.
- Work closely with Customer Success, Marketing and Product teams to improve customer acquisition, onboarding and retention outcomes.
- Provide regular market feedback, competitor insights and customer trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Champion best practices, process improvements and CRM adoption across the team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong track record in SaaS. Fintech experience is highly desirable.
- 3+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong leadership, coaching and people development skills.
- Experience building accountability frameworks and driving performance through effective management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable team strategies.
- Experience within payments, fintech or related technology sectors.
- Proven ability to motivate, inspire and develop teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is advantageous.
- Understanding of fintech platforms, payments ecosystems and accounting or expense management solutions is preferred.
