Position Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead, motivate, and develop our sales team. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales plans, and managing key client relationships. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can coach reps to exceed quotas while also rolling up their sleeves to close complex deals.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team (Account Executives, SDRs).
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one coaching sessions, pipeline reviews, and team meetings.
  • Set individual and team KPIs (calls, demos, proposals, close rates).
  • Identify skill gaps and implement ongoing training programs (product knowledge, negotiation, closing techniques).

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute a data-driven sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast accurately and adjust tactics.
  • Refine sales processes, scripts, email templates, and playbooks.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on lead generation campaigns and with Product on customer feedback.

Revenue & Pipeline Management

  • Manage the end-to-end sales pipeline in CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive).
  • Ensure reps maintain accurate opportunity stages, next steps, and deal values.
  • Step in to negotiate and close major or strategic accounts when needed.
  • Report on sales metrics (conversion rates, average deal size, sales cycle length) to senior leadership.

QualificationsRequired

  • 3–5+ years of B2B/B2C sales experience, with 2+ years in a sales leadership or team lead role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding team revenue targets.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM software and sales engagement platforms.
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make strategic decisions.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in [your specific industry: e.g., FinTech, Medical Devices, Logistics].
  • Experience selling $[50k+] ACV deals.
  • Proficiency with [specific tools: e.g., Tableau, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo].

  • Individual rep ramp-up time and productivity
  • Sales pipeline velocity and coverage ratio
  • Forecast accuracy (within 10%)
  • Sales team retention and satisfaction
