Job purpose
We require Sales Executives responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets within the hotel, restaurant, and café sectors.
Sales professionals with natural flair and capability of developing new business, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and providing excellent customer service and support.
To succeed in this role, a deep understanding of the HORECA market is required coupled with the ability to manage a portfolio of existing accounts whilst expanding the client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales performance: Achieve and exceed sales targets by developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Business development: Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within the HoReCa sector.
- Product demonstrations and presentations: Conduct on-site visits to showcase product features and benefits of coffee machines and related equipment.
- Negotiation and closing: Prepare sales proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Market expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
- Reporting and administration: Maintain accurate sales records, use CRM tools, and provide timely sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Event participation: Represent the brand professionally at trade shows, exhibitions, and other industry events.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams, such as marketing and technical support, to ensure customer satisfaction and effective after-sales service.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
- 3-4 years of experience in sales, preferably within the HORECA industry / Coffee & Coffee Equipment.
- Should have work experience in premium coffee brands / Illy, Lavazza, Cage Vergano/ or well-known Italian brands.
- Well connected with the network of hotels chains procurement and Food Beverage Managers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of the HoReCa market and industry dynamics.
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline and use CRM software.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
