Overview And Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and expanding the company's presence across the industrial sector.

The role is responsible for developing sales strategies, managing key customer accounts, securing new contracts, and positioning the organization as a preferred engineering services provider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies, pricing plans, and revenue targets to achieve sustainable business growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, Power, Marine, and Industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government entities, consultants, EPC contractors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Prepare, review, and submit technical and commercial proposals, bids, and tenders while negotiating contract terms and commercial agreements.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, monitor lead generation, conversion rates, and sales performance, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Represent the organization at industry exhibitions, conferences, and business forums to strengthen market presence and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, procurement, and finance teams to ensure customer requirements are met and contracts are successfully executed.
  • Support marketing initiatives by contributing to promotional campaigns, technical presentations, case studies, and customer engagement activities.
  • Gather customer feedback, monitor market trends, and recommend service improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, commercial regulations, contractual obligations, and maintain accurate sales documentation and CRM records.

Qualifications & Experience

  • **Years of Experience:**
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within engineering services, industrial solutions, or the Oil & Gas sector.
  • **Education:**
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, or a related discipline.
  • Engineering qualification is preferred.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiations, tender management, and proposal preparation.
  • Strong understanding of industrial service standards, including API, ASME, or similar industry standards.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, sales forecasting tools, and market analysis techniques.
  • Excellent commercial awareness with strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build long-term customer relationships and develop strategic business opportunities.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP), PMP, Salesforce, HubSpot CRM, or Digital Marketing certifications are considered an advantage.
