As we scale across the GCC, we’re looking for a well-connected Business Development Executive to accelerate our retail and distribution growth across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait.

This role is ideal for someone with strong relationships across distributors, supermarkets, modern trade, and key FMCG retail channels in the GCC.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a commercially driven sales professional who understands FMCG distribution in the GCC and knows how to open doors quickly.

You will be responsible for expanding our retail footprint across UAE, KSA, and Kuwait by securing distributor partnerships, opening new retail accounts, and driving visibility and sales growth across key channels.

This is a high-impact role for someone entrepreneurial, proactive, and excited to help scale a fast-growing regional consumer brand.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Account Acquisition

  • Identify, negotiate, and onboard distributors across UAE, KSA, and Kuwait
  • Leverage existing relationships with retailers, distributors, and FMCG decision-makers to accelerate market penetration
  • Open new accounts across: Modern trade, Supermarkets & hypermarkets, Convenience retail, Specialty food & health stores

Account Management

  • Build strong relationships with distributors, category buyers, and retail partners
  • Drive product listings and shelf expansion across key retail chains
  • Manage ongoing account performance, negotiations, and reorders
  • Ensure strong sell-through and account growth

Retail Execution and Visibility

  • Ensure products are well displayed and always in stock
  • Improve in-store visibility through placement, merchandising, and POS materials
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with distributors when needed

Retail Execution & Market Visibility

  • Ensure strong in-store visibility, merchandising, and shelf placement
  • Monitor stock availability and coordinate closely with distributors
  • Identify market opportunities, competitor activity, and distribution gaps
  • Support in-store promotions and activations where relevant

Market Coverage

  • Plan daily and weekly routes to maximize outlet coverage
  • Visit stores regularly to check availability, visibility, and performance
  • Identify gaps and opportunities in the market

Reporting

  • Deliver against monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Track listings, distribution growth, and account performance
  • Share regular market feedback and commercial insights with leadership
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting reports

Requirements

  • 3–5 years experience in FMCG sales, food distribution, or retail partnerships within the GCC
  • Existing distributor and retail relationships across UAE, KSA, and/or Kuwait is highly preferred
  • Proven track record of opening accounts and driving revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of modern trade and retail distribution in GCC markets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with strong ownership and execution mindset
  • Comfortable traveling regularly across GCC markets
  • UAE-based preferred
