The Sales Development Manager drives sales growth across assigned territories through commercial plans, distributor performance management, and customer relationships.
The Dubai-based role partners with distributors and cross-functional teams to achieve financial, brand, and market execution objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory sales plans; build coverage strategies and translate brand priorities into channel plans.
- Manage distributor performance against financial and commercial targets; develop joint business plans with distributors and key customers.
- Monitor KPIs, forecasts, trade investments, and sales performance.
- Lead category, innovation, distribution, and promotional initiatives; partner cross-functionally to address operational and capability gaps.
- Manage orders, payments, deductions, and inventory-related matters.
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of sales experience, including at least 7 years managing sales through distributors.
- Proven experience developing sales plans and customer relationships; strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, influencing, and KPI management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; fluent English required.
- Bachelor’s degree, Power BI experience, Arabic, and FMCG or center-store category experience are preferred.
- Availability to travel approximately one week per month.
