Sales Associate

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Provide product information and recommendations on accessories, including handbags, jewelry, scarves, sunglasses, and other fashion items.
• Achieve individual and store sales goals through effective selling techniques.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
• Replenish stock and ensure merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns according to company policies.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock receiving, and stockroom organization.
• Stay informed about current products, promotions, and fashion trends.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive shopping environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail sales experience preferred, particularly in fashion or accessories.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting when required.
