Role purpose
To own the operational systems, processes, and people infrastructure that allow Ritzy to scale without breaking.
The COO ensures every function runs reliably, the team is accountable, and operations can support tripling the business over 12 months.
This role is operations only.
Commercial strategy and revenue targets are owned by the Head of Commercial.
Financial decisions above threshold are owned by the CFO.
HR administration is handled via HR SaaS and a part-time consultant.
Key responsibilities
- Design, document, and maintain SOPs for all operational functions: order fulfilment, inventory management, customer service, store operations, and staff onboarding
- Directly manage and develop three functions: E-commerce & CX Lead, Inventory & Logistics Lead, and Head of Retail
- Manage the inventory across the different locations
- Run the weekly operations review: attendance, performance against KPIs, escalations, and upcoming operational priorities
- Own all technology and tool decisions for operations: Shopify backend, CRM, HR SaaS, and productivity tools — within CFO-approved budget
- Maintain staff scheduling frameworks across all locations and office functions
- Own the performance review cycle for all staff below C-suite: quarterly check-ins, annual reviews, and written documentation
- **Coordinate with the Head of Commercial to ensure operations can execute commercial plans: launch readiness, peak period staffing, and gifting campaign fulfilment capacity**
- Manage employment contracts, visa processes, and MOHRE compliance with PRO support
- Resolve operational escalations that exceed direct report authority — and document root cause to prevent recurrence
- Report to the CEO monthly on team performance, operational health, and capacity for growth
- Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
