We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our accessories retail team.
The ideal candidate will assist customers in finding products that suit their needs, maintain attractive merchandise displays, and contribute to achieving store sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide product information and recommendations on accessories, including handbags, jewelry, scarves, sunglasses, and other fashion items.
- Achieve individual and store sales goals through effective selling techniques.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
- Replenish stock and ensure merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns according to company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock receiving, and stockroom organization.
- Stay informed about current products, promotions, and fashion trends.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive shopping environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, particularly in fashion or accessories.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting when required.
