Sales Analyst

Position Summary
Contribute to strategic sales delivery through detailed reporting and analysis supporting UFA’s customer-centric business model.
Provide data-driven insights supporting revenue and profit growth across petroleum, crop inputs, and retail sales.
Collaborate with operations, finance, IT, sales, and marketing teams on customer research, analysis, and campaign audience development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Excel and Power BI reporting tools for sales and management teams.
- Manage Power BI workspace deployment, access control, organization, and governance practices.
- Report on sales initiatives and financing programs for sales management and product strategy teams.
- Aggregate customer, competitor, and market data to support pricing, margins, and market share improvements.
- Provide ad hoc data and reporting to sales teams and management.
- Develop and validate targeted customer and prospect lists for marketing campaigns.
- Support petroleum sales and pricing teams with reporting requirements and actionable insights.
- Identify growth, cross-selling, system enhancement, and sales process automation opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary undergraduate degree in data science, finance, or accounting is required.
- At least two years of experience in analytics and reporting, accounting, or finance is required.
- Intermediate to advanced Power BI skills, including DAX, data visualization, and data modelling, are required.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, are required.
- Ability to synthesize and communicate analysis outcomes and findings to various audiences is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and SAP ERP systems is considered an asset.
- Background in oil and gas, fuel distribution, or agriculture is preferred.
- A professional accounting or finance designation, or progress toward one, is considered an asset.
- An energetic, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn about diverse business lines are expected.
