Role Overview
Support global sales programs through complex energy and financial modeling, quotations, comprehensive proposals, and sales activity analysis.
Collaborate with global sales, project engineering, logistics, operations, finance, marketing, and product management teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop modeling tools and create and maintain sales models.
- Coordinate sales proposals and generate quotes based on technical requirements, project economics, and financial information.
- Track sales activities using Salesforce.com and manage CRM reporting, improvements, and modifications.
- Generate sales reports and presentations for a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Support deal structuring and bid strategy with the global sales and business development team.
- Provide input on new products with the marketing and product management team.
- Improve proposal templates, bankability binders, and client presentations.
- Analyze orders and quotes to determine hit rates, market segments, value propositions, and lead sources.
- Work with cross-functional teams to help ensure customer expectations are met.
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in engineering or an advanced degree in a business or technical field.
- Four to six years of sales analysis, business development, and/or financial modeling experience.
- Solar or power industry experience is a plus.
- Fluency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience utilizing CRM tools; Salesforce.com experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
