The Safety Engineer implements, monitors and enforces HSE standards across project activities to support a safe working environment and compliance with regulatory and project requirements.
The role supports zero-harm objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
Safety planning and site controls
- Develop and maintain safety plans, conduct risk assessments and ensure site operations follow approved safety procedures.
- Oversee and control HSE measures for TBM operations, shaft construction, cross-passage works, confined space entry, lifting operations and electrical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits and toolbox talks; identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are promptly implemented.
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors and management to promote safety culture, continuous compliance and high safety performance.
