Linesight is seeking a Safety / EHS Construction Manager to support construction projects and develop a strong Health, Safety and Environment culture.
The role offers responsibility across project delivery, stakeholder communication, EHS governance, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with project partners to build an HSE culture through best-practice processes and continual improvement.
- Communicate EHS activities to key stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Conduct internal audits and support non-conformances and continuous improvements.
- Establish KPIs and share ongoing results through dashboards.
- Review and challenge the EHS plan and its implementation.
- Maintain a daily field presence through inspections, safety walks, and targeted audits.
- Oversee projects and support functions to ensure EHS processes and procedures are used.
- Participate in risk reviews and manage potential EHS risks.
Required qualifications and experience
- Be available full time on site for the duration of the construction phase.
- Have at least 10 years of EHS experience in construction and project management organizations.
- Have experience in contractor management, field assurance, high-risk construction, and incident investigation.
- Have sound knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment management.
- Hold a formal H&S qualification with environmental management competence appropriate to construction.
- Have a degree or comparable experience in project management or a construction discipline.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred experience
- Client representative experience across a range of sectors and technologies is preferred.
- Data centre or mission-critical construction experience is strongly preferred.
