Leads complex data centre construction projects and teams, with responsibility for project delivery, client relationships, governance, and site performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery through planning, coordination, execution, and completion; manage teams and deliverables against schedule and budget.
- Manage schedule, budget, risk, procurement, resources, programme, change, and commercial performance.
- Lead governance, reporting, executive decision-making, and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Review funding requests and stage gates; ensure regulatory, safety, quality, and commissioning compliance.
- Provide visible site leadership and monitor progress and safety.
- Coordinate snagging, issue resolution, and close-out; drive reports, dashboards, risk logs, change trackers, and continuous improvement.
Experience and qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 5 years in senior Project Director or Programme Director roles on major complex projects.
- 5+ years of data centre or mission-critical experience is preferred.
- Experience delivering large-scale, hyperscale, or mission-critical projects from design and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover.
- GCC/Middle East delivery experience and knowledge of regional authority, contractor, and consultant environments.
- Experience leading large multidisciplinary PMC teams across project management, commercial, construction, MEP, planning, and commissioning.
- Tier 1 international developer, consultant, or contractor experience in structured governance environments is preferred.
- International client-facing experience with senior stakeholders across countries and cultures.
- Strong data centre technical understanding, especially MEP delivery, commissioning, integration, and operational readiness.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, commercial, contract, procurement, change, and project-controls capabilities.
Workplace
- Visible site leadership and monitoring of construction progress and safety practices are part of the role.
- Interviews are conducted in person or virtually with video required.
