Rust Engineer (Remote | $30–$100/hr)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Create realistic coding tasks involving feature implementation and bug fixes.
• Develop deterministic testers and verifiers to distinguish valid solutions from incorrect ones.
• Build and evaluate tasks based on real-world backend engineering workflows.
• Debug software issues and optimize performance, scalability, and reliability.

Required qualifications

• Strong backend development experience in Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++, or similar languages.
• Experience building scalable services and APIs.
• Proficiency in debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing.
• Strong code review and software quality assessment skills.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and computer science fundamentals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.

• Experience delivering high-quality, performant backend applications.
• Experience resolving software bugs and system bottlenecks.

Engagement and compensation

• Independent contractor engagement paying $30–$100 per hour, with output-based payment for tasks meeting project specifications.
• Approximately 15 hours per week; schedule is flexible, including weekends if desired.
• Minimum task submission requirements apply. Approximately 100 openings are available.

Selection process
