Support a project developing advanced AI systems for engineering applications using mechanical engineering expertise.
Apply mechanical design, 3D CAD, technical drawing, and FEA knowledge to train and validate AI systems.

Key responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D CAD models of mechanical components using SolidWorks, NX, Creo, or CATIA.
- Interpret technical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
- Document component requirements, specifications, and manufacturing tolerances.
- Provide insights on stress analysis and FEA tasks.
- Review and improve CAD outputs and technical documentation.
- Evaluate AI-generated engineering outputs and provide expert feedback to improve them.
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of hands-on mechanical design engineering experience.
- Strong experience with 3D CAD modeling and FEA.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, NX, Creo, or CATIA.
- Ability to interpret and produce detailed technical drawings and documentation.
- Strong understanding of stress analysis, FEA principles, and engineering validation.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience across multiple CAD platforms.
- Experience defining engineering requirements and modeling mechanical components.
- Knowledge of end-to-end engineering processes from requirements through validation and documentation.
Compensation and engagement
- Compensation is stated as $55–$100 per hour.
- The engagement is described as independent contractor work.
- Approximately 50 positions are available.
Location
- The position is remote.
