Position summary
Experienced RPA Business Systems Analyst role focused on business intelligence, automation, and data analytics.
Design and maintain reporting and automation solutions while partnering with business stakeholders to support data-driven decisions.
Contract role identified as hybrid, based in Toronto, with an immediate requirement.
Key responsibilities
- Build interactive self-service dashboards and reporting with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other BI and automation tools.
- Analyze data for trends, patterns, and business optimization opportunities; combine multiple sources to produce actionable insights.
- Present findings through clear stories, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and business partners.
- Support data accuracy, consistency, governance, and quality; respond to ad hoc reporting needs and advise on BI best practices.
- Identify data quality improvement opportunities and collaborate with business and technical teams on effective solutions.
Experience and qualifications
- 6–8 years in business analysis, BI reporting, data analytics, or automation, including at least 3 years of relevant BI reporting and analytics experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel, SQL, Power Query, DAX, automation tools, and semantic data modeling.
- Experience with large datasets, data transformation, and ETL processes; working knowledge of IT terminology, technologies, and industry practices.
- Strong analysis, data visualization, storytelling, presentation, communication, and problem-solving abilities; able to explain complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; self-starter with intellectual curiosity.
- An undergraduate or advanced technical degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, finance, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
