RPA Business Systems Analyst (BSA)

Position summary

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive, self-service dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other BI and automation tools.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business optimization.
• Turn complex data findings into stories, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and business partners.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, governance, and quality across reporting solutions and dashboards.
• Support ad hoc reporting requests and provide guidance on BI and reporting best practices.
• Combine and analyze data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights and identify data quality improvements.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify and implement effective business and technical solutions.

Required skills and experience

• 6–8 years of experience in business analysis, BI reporting, data analytics, or automation.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in BI reporting and analytics.
• An undergraduate or advanced technical degree is preferred in mathematics, physics, engineering, finance, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze and combine data from multiple sources, present insights clearly, make actionable recommendations, and identify data hygiene and governance improvements.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power Query, DAX, automation tools, and semantic data modeling.
• Experience with large datasets, data transformation, and ETL processes.
• Strong storytelling, presentation, and data visualization skills; ability to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a self-starter mindset, intellectual curiosity, and working knowledge of IT terminology, technologies, and industry practices.
