Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid Rope Access Manager role based in Dubai, with some flexibility for work from home.

The Rope Access Manager will oversee planning, coordination, and execution of rope access operations for various facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of services.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing method statements and risk assessments, allocating teams and equipment, and supervising on-site activities to meet project objectives and client expectations.

The role will involve liaising with clients and internal stakeholders, scheduling jobs, monitoring progress, and resolving operational issues in a timely manner.

The Rope Access Manager will also be responsible for training and mentoring rope access technicians, maintaining certifications and documentation, and driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

  • Strong rope access expertise, including proven experience overseeing Rope Access operations and supervision of multi-discipline access teams.
  • Ability to develop, review, and implement Method Statements and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
  • Operations Management and Project Management skills to plan resources, manage timelines and budgets, and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant safety and offshore/industrial exposure, such as BOSIET or comparable HSE certifications, with a solid understanding of safe work practices at height.
  • Experience in facilities management, construction, or industrial services, preferably within the Middle East or similar environments.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and coaching abilities, with a focus on safety culture and performance accountability.
  • Effective communication and client-facing skills, including reporting, coordination, and problem-solving under time constraints.
  • Proficiency in basic office and project tools (e.g., MS Office, scheduling software) and the ability to maintain accurate operational records.
  • Relevant technical or engineering diploma/degree is preferred; IRATA or similar rope access certifications are an advantage.
