Job Purpose
To support the effective implementation and supervision of risk management activities within the hospital by coordinating incident reporting, assisting in risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with risk policies to promote patient and organizational safety.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Organizational Accountabilities
- Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement
- Ensure day-to-day activities are properly performed in line with policies and procedures
- Follow-up on escalated cases/issues of subordinates to ensure they are closed efficiently and in a timely manner
Functional Accountabilities
- Supervise day-to-day risk management operations and ensure adherence to hospital risk policies and procedures
- Coordinate incident reporting, investigation, and documentation processes, ensuring timely follow-up and closure
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and root cause analyses (RCA) for adverse events and near misses
- Monitor risk registers and support updating mitigation plans and controls
- Facilitate staff training and awareness programs on risk identification and reporting
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to promote a culture of risk awareness and safety
- Prepare and submit risk reports and summaries to the Risk Manager and senior leadership
- Support internal and external audits related to risk management and patient safety
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of risk-related information
- Participate in risk management committee meetings and contribute to action planning

Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Knowledge and Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in healthcare risk management or quality assurance
- Familiarity with healthcare accreditation standards and incident investigation processes
- Knowledge of risk management tools and methodologies
Education
- and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Skills
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in data entry and reporting software
- Fluent in English and Arabic are an advantage
