Job Purpose

Organizational Accountabilities

• Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement
• Ensure day-to-day activities are properly performed in line with policies and procedures
• Follow-up on escalated cases/issues of subordinates to ensure they are closed efficiently and in a timely manner

Functional Accountabilities

• Assist in conducting regular quality and patient safety audits and inspections within assigned departments
• Monitor and track incident reports, near misses, and adverse events, ensuring timely documentation and follow-up
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and assist in developing corrective action plans
• Facilitate staff training and awareness programs on quality standards and patient safety protocols
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to promote compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards
• Collect, analyze, and report data related to patient safety indicators and quality metrics
• Participate in quality improvement projects and support implementation of safety initiatives
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and national healthcare regulations
• Assist in preparing reports for hospital leadership and quality committees
• Support coordination during internal and external audits and accreditation surveys

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Knowledge and Experience:
• 2–4 years of experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, or risk management
• Knowledge of healthcare accreditation standards and patient safety frameworks
• Familiarity with incident reporting systems and quality improvement methodologies
