Job responsibilities
- Assist crane operators during lifting and shifting operations at construction sites.
- Inspect lifting equipment, slings, shackles, hooks, chains, and other rigging accessories before use.
- Attach and secure loads using approved rigging methods.
- Guide crane operators using standard hand signals and radio communication.
- Ensure loads are balanced and safely positioned before lifting.
- Calculate or understand basic load weights and lifting capacities.
- Follow approved lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Maintain a safe distance from suspended and moving loads.
- Check lifting areas for obstacles, personnel, power lines, and other hazards.
- Use tag lines to control and stabilize loads during lifting.
- Coordinate with the crane operator, lifting supervisor, and site team.
- Ensure lifting accessories have valid inspection and certification; stop work if unsafe conditions arise, follow site HSE procedures, and maintain good housekeeping.
Experience and safety requirements
- Five years of Dubai experience is preferred.
- Lifting accessories must have valid inspection and certification.
- Follow UAE construction site HSE requirements and company safety procedures.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 1,500 per month.

- Work is in person.
