About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.
You will act as a key link between front-of-house staff and management, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service throughout service
- Manage staff scheduling, shift handovers, and daily attendance
- Enforce hygiene, health & safety, and food safety regulations at all times
- Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally and promptly
- Monitor inventory levels, place supply orders, and minimize waste
- Prepare end-of-shift reports and communicate key updates to management
- Train, mentor, and support new and existing team members
- Assist with performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff
- Uphold company policies and ensure brand standards are consistently met
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience is highly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and local regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
