The Restaurant Supervisor coordinates staff to deliver service and meet guest needs while supporting restaurant operations.
The role is full-time, on-site at Al Khail Road in Dubai, and designated non-management.
Restaurant operations
- Inspect staff grooming and attire; complete opening and closing duties, setup, cleaning, and securing of work areas.
- Maintain organized and clean storage, apply FIFO practices, complete inventories, and requisition supplies.
- Monitor dining-room seating, service, safety, and guest well-being; submit maintenance work orders.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Follow company and safety policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
Guest service and conduct
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests.
- Communicate professionally, maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and support team goals.
- Maintain quality standards and recommend or implement improvements in efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, or cost savings.
Preferred qualifications
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least two years of related work experience and one year of supervisory experience are preferred.
- No license or certification is specified.
- The role involves extended standing, sitting, or walking and physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance, bending, reaching, and moving through stairs or confined areas.
