The Restaurant Manager leads a homegrown restaurant brand, delivering dining experiences and operational excellence while driving business performance.
The role is responsible for smooth daily operations, food and service quality, guest experience, profitability, and a positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across bar, service, hosting, opening and closing, and floor activities.
- Maintain food quality, presentation, preparation, service, hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards and comply with policies and regulations.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints; support promotions and special events.
- Recruit, train, supervise, coach, and discipline staff, and ensure adequate staffing.
- Manage payroll, inventory, stock, and cost-saving initiatives to maintain outlet profitability.
- Prepare daily and monthly reports, manage POS systems, maintain documentation, and use business software.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef, Marketing, and other departments to improve operations and drive business performance.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of full-service, fine-dining, or casual-dining restaurant management experience.
- Strong financial management and commercial acumen to develop business and revenue strategies.
- Extensive F&B industry knowledge, regional best practices, and management techniques.
- Relevant restaurant and/or hospitality management educational qualifications.
- Homegrown brand experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent English and Arabic communication skills and a track record of meeting targets.
- Strong customer orientation, service, leadership, people development, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work.
