Restaurant Coordinator

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dine-in, takeaway, delivery-platform, and meal-plan orders.
• Communicate order details, dietary requirements, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Monitor preparation and dispatch times; follow up on delays with kitchen staff and delivery partners.
• Coordinate packaging requirements and supplier communication.
• Help maintain cleanliness, food safety procedures, and service standards.
• Handle customer enquiries, bookings, feedback, and complaints by phone, WhatsApp, and email.
• Maintain meal plan schedules, subscriptions, delivery details, pauses, and restarts.
• Support catering enquiries, quotations, confirmations, and delivery arrangements.
• Update menu availability and item information on delivery platforms and the POS system.
• Record order issues, refunds, and platform deductions and coordinate management follow-up.
• Maintain operational records and prepare brief reports on orders, customer issues, and outstanding actions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in restaurant coordination, hospitality administration, customer service, or a similar role.
• Strong organization and ability to manage several tasks during busy service periods.
• Clear spoken and written English; Arabic or other languages are an advantage.
• Familiarity with POS systems, delivery aggregator portals, Microsoft Excel, and WhatsApp Business.
• Professional, customer-focused approach, attention to detail, and calm operational problem-solving.

Schedule

• Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
