Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide professional customer service during payment transactions.
• Process cash, credit card, debit card, digital wallet, and other approved payment methods accurately.
• Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately.
• Generate bills, process refunds, discounts, and voids in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure accuracy in cash handling and maintain proper cash float management.
• Reconcile daily sales transactions and prepare end-of-shift cash reports.
• Assist guests with billing inquiries and resolve payment-related concerns professionally.
• Coordinate with service and management teams to ensure accurate order and billing information.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and reception area.
• Follow company policies regarding cash handling, fraud prevention, and financial controls.
• Support front-of-house operations during busy periods when required.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of financial transactions and guest information.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality is an advantage.
• Minimum **1–2 years of experience** as a cashier, preferably in a restaurant, café, hospitality, or retail environment.
• Experience using POS systems and handling various payment methods.
• Basic understanding of cash reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
