What you’ll do
- Deliver short-term, data-driven resource and training plans with accurate handover to operational teams.
- Lead and manage a team using KPIs, SLAs, and quality standards to drive performance.
- Monitor real-time risks and resource gaps, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation.
- Use systems and data to support decisions, resolve issues, and improve delivery processes.
- Work with Planning teams and stakeholders to align delivery.
- Improve performance through insight, reporting, and process enhancements.
- Support operations during disruption, including out-of-hours when required.
Essential experience and capabilities
- Able to hold an airside pass.
- Proven resource delivery or operational deployment experience, with analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience leading and developing teams, embedding performance standards, and driving consistent delivery.
- Able to work flexibly under pressure, manage competing priorities, and maintain accuracy and control.
Desirable experience
- Experience with planning and delivery systems, including issue resolution, testing, and compliant system usage, is desirable.
- Experience with operational stakeholders, Trade Union partners, and third-party suppliers is desirable.
Contract and location
- The role is permanent and full-time at British Airways Head Office, Waterside, London.
- Operational delivery may include out-of-hours work when required.
