Overview

We are seeking a polished, discreet, and service-driven

Villa Manager / Private Residence Manager

to oversee the day-to-day operations of a private residence for the owner of a leading conglomerate.

The ideal candidate will be an

professional with strong hospitality experience

, preferably from luxury hotels, serviced residences, private households, or VIP guest services environments.

Malayalam language capability would be preferred, given the household communication requirements.

The role requires strong attention to detail, high service standards, staff coordination capability, and the ability to manage the smooth running of a private villa with professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the villa, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation, service, and readiness at all times.
  • Supervise and coordinate household staff, including housekeeping, kitchen, service, maintenance, gardening, drivers, and external support teams.
  • Manage staff schedules, duties, leave planning, grooming standards, service discipline, and day-to-day performance.
  • Ensure all maintenance, repairs, preventive checks, and vendor visits are coordinated efficiently.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, service providers, and household vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Manage household inventory, groceries, supplies, uniforms, linen, equipment, and other villa requirements.
  • Support family requirements, guest visits, VIP hospitality, private gatherings, and day-to-day service requests.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all matters relating to the Principal, family, guests, and household operations.
  • Keep basic records of expenses, inventory, vendor visits, maintenance schedules, staff attendance, and household requirements.
  • Anticipate household needs and ensure the villa runs smoothly without disruption.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in hospitality, luxury service, private residences, serviced apartments, or VIP guest-facing environments.
  • Malayalam speaking ability preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Villa Manager, House Manager, Guest Relations Manager, Butler Supervisor, Housekeeping Supervisor, Front Office Supervisor, or similar hospitality/private household role.
  • Strong understanding of luxury service standards, cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience.
  • Ability to manage household staff and coordinate multiple daily operational requirements.
  • Excellent communication, grooming, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of discretion, reliability, maturity, and confidentiality.
  • Flexible approach to working hours based on the needs of the household.
  • Fluency in English required; Hindi and/or Malayalam would be an advantage.

Ideal Profile

A mature, well-presented, and hands-on hospitality professional who understands high-standard service environments and can manage a private residence with discretion, discipline, and attention to detail.

The candidate should be comfortable working closely with household staff, family representatives, vendors, and service providers while maintaining absolute confidentiality.
