Role overview
The Reservations Agent supports an exceptional guest experience by welcoming guests and managing reservations.
What you will do
- Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Book and enter room reservation requests in the property management system and accurately enter rooming lists.
- Update reservations to support smooth check-in and check-out.
- Upsell guest rooms and recommend hotel facilities to maximize revenue.
- Coordinate with Sales and other departments.
- Answer telephone and email inquiries promptly and provide helpful information about hotel facilities.
- Follow department policies, procedures, service standards, and safety policies; perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities; responsible and reliable.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and collaborate as part of a team.
- Able to focus on guest needs and remain calm and courteous.
- Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
Preferred experience
- Previous property management system experience is preferred.
- Opera or a related system experience is an asset.
- Experience in project coordination, scheduling, and document control is noted as additional experience.
