Process guest reservation requests and support a positive guest experience while following company and quality standards.
Reservations and guest service
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
- Identify guest needs, determine appropriate room types, and verify availability and rates.
- Explain guarantee, special-rate, and cancellation policies; accommodate and document special requests.
- Answer questions about property facilities, services, and room accommodations.
- Use sales techniques to maximize revenue and enter correct reservation codes and rates in the system.
- Escalate guest concerns using established procedures.
Service and workplace conduct
- Follow company policies; maintain a clean, professional appearance; protect confidential information, company assets, and guest and coworker privacy.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests.
- Use clear professional language and appropriate telephone etiquette; develop positive working relationships and support team goals.
- Meet quality assurance expectations; perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Schedule and position
- Full-time schedule.
- Non-management position.

Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
