Front-line role providing travel services and converting enquiries into ticketed sales through efficient, friendly customer service.
Responsibilities
- Serve retail, government, and corporate clients and respond to queries in a timely manner.
- Offer contracted products, services, and loyalty programs and advise customers on destinations and travel products.
- Convert enquiries into ticketed sales; cross-sell and upsell relevant products to increase revenue.
- Make reservations and issue tickets while complying with applicable airline, hotel, and product rules.
- Recommend alternative classes, routes, carriers, or products when requested seats are unavailable, observing department priorities.
- Explain journey requirements, including passport, visa, health, insurance, and check-in information.
- Maintain client relationships and provide updates on new products and services.
- Follow dnata service and internal audit standards.
- Apply updates to systems, airline fares, schedules, and procedures.
- Accurately report revenue documents daily in the Back Office System and update corporate invoice information.
Requirements
- Degree or Honours qualification (12+3 or equivalent); a university degree in Travel and Tourism or a related discipline is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of geography and arithmetic.
- Strong interpersonal, telephone, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of airline reservation systems.
- Strong written and verbal English is mandatory.
