Provides technical support and maintenance for computer systems, software applications, and network-related technologies from a remote work environment.
Diagnoses technical issues, resolves user requests, and supports reliable IT operations with timely, customer-focused assistance.
Key responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support for hardware, software, operating systems, and business applications.
- Diagnose and resolve issues using remote access tools and support platforms; install, configure, and maintain software and updates.
- Respond to service requests, prioritize incidents, manage tickets, and assist with account access and system configuration.
- Monitor performance, identify recurring issues, and escalate complex incidents while communicating with users.
- Maintain support documentation and follow system-access, software-update, and data-protection policies.
- Recommend improvements to support processes and technical documentation.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, information systems, or a related technical field; equivalent technical experience may be considered.
- Experience in IT support, technical support, service desk, or help desk roles is preferred.
- Strong understanding of hardware, operating systems, networking fundamentals, and software applications.
- Familiarity with remote support tools, ticketing systems, and IT service management practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, prioritization, organization, and documentation skills.
- Able to work independently, collaborate with technical teams, and continue learning about evolving technologies.
