Diagnoses technical issues, resolves user requests, and supports reliable IT system operation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide remote support for hardware, software, operating systems, and business applications.
- Diagnose and resolve issues using remote access tools and support platforms.
- Install, configure, and maintain software, system updates, and user applications.
- Respond to requests, prioritize incidents, and manage tickets through completion.
- Assist users with account access, system configuration, and technology inquiries.
- Monitor system performance and identify recurring issues.
- Escalate complex incidents and maintain clear user communication.
- Document support activities, resolutions, and technical procedures.
- Follow security policies for system access, software updates, and data protection.
- Recommend improvements to support processes and technical documentation.
Qualifications and requirements
- A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field; equivalent technical experience may be considered.
- Experience in IT support, technical support, service desk, or help desk roles is preferred.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, networking fundamentals, and software applications.
- Familiarity with remote support tools, ticketing systems, and IT service management practices.
- Requires analytical troubleshooting, communication, prioritization, organizational, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with technology and support practices.
