Asset & Reliability Engineer – Manufacturing
We are seeking a skilled Asset & Reliability professional to drive reliability excellence, asset performance, and maintenance optimization across manufacturing operations.
This role is focused on improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and enabling data-driven maintenance strategies through structured reliability engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Asset Reliability & Performance Improvement across plant equipment and utilities
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 5-Why, Fishbone analysis for chronic and critical failures
- Optimize Preventive & Predictive Maintenance strategies based on failure data and equipment condition
- Develop and maintain Asset Criticality Ranking to prioritize maintenance efforts and resources
- Analyze maintenance KPIs, including MTBF, MTTR, downtime trends, and failure patterns
- Implement reliability improvement initiatives to reduce recurring breakdowns and improve plant availability
- Support digital maintenance transformation, including ERP systems, condition monitoring, IoT, and reliability dashboards
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams for continuous improvement
- Prepare reliability reports and performance insights for leadership decision-making
Required Profile
- 4–7 years of experience in Maintenance / Reliability / Asset Management (Manufacturing Industry)
- Strong knowledge of Reliability Engineering tools and methodologies
- Hands-on experience in RCA, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance systems
- Strong data analysis skills using tools like Excel, Power BI or similar platforms
- Experience working with ERP-based maintenance systems (SAP / Oracle or similar)
- Strong exposure to industrial/manufacturing plant environments (Cable industry preferred)
• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
- Other Asset Management / Reliability certifications
- Also open to:
- Senior Maintenance Engineers from manufacturing industries with strong reliability exposure and CMRP certification.
