The Regional Sales Manager – Pumps Aftermarket drives sales growth, market development, and customer engagement across Iraq, Libya, Jordan, Syria, and Yemen.
The role develops aftermarket business in power, oil and gas, water, and industrial sectors.
Responsibilities
- Develop regional sales strategies and relationships with end users, EPC contractors, channel partners, and service providers.
- Sell pump spares, repairs, refurbishment, replacement pumps, upgrades, retrofits, reverse engineering, field services, and lifecycle solutions.
- Build opportunity pipelines, manage customer accounts, and pursue annual sales and profitability targets.
- Conduct customer visits to identify shutdowns, maintenance projects, and brownfield opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, monitor markets and competitors, and develop channel partners.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, operations, service, finance, manufacturing, project management, and supply chain teams.
- Develop market, pricing, and route-to-market plans; execute action plans and report forecasts and customer visits.
- Deliver sales and technical presentations and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars.
Knowledge and skills
- Requires in-depth engineering knowledge to identify technical risks, solve problems, and provide solutions.
- Requires in-depth commercial knowledge to identify contract risks.
- Must analyze and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Must be able to define problems and assess risks.
