Construction And Infrastructure And Multi-Site Operations #

We are seeking a highly operational and field-oriented Regional HR Operations Manager to support and oversee HR operational excellence across African operations, with immediate focus on Rwanda and regional expansion markets.

This role requires a strong on-ground presence and close partnership with leadership teams across multiple countries and operational sites.

The position reports directly to the CEO and requires frequent travel across African markets.

Key Objective of the Role

To ensure strong HR operational ownership, implementation, team alignment, organizational discipline, and field visibility across African operations.

Key Requirements

  • Strong exposure to African markets and field operations
  • Experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure, industrial, or multi-site environments
  • Strong leadership maturity and operational judgment
  • Strong field presence, credibility, and authority
  • Ability to communicate and influence all levels of leadership and employees
  • Strong relationship management and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to unify teams and strengthen collaboration across departments
  • High resilience and adaptability in complex operational environments
  • Strong implementation and execution mindset
  • Transparency and accurate reporting discipline
  • Ability to identify operational or people risks early and escalate quickly
  • Business understanding beyond traditional HR administration
  • Experience managing multicultural teams across African operations
  • Mobility and flexibility to travel frequently between countries and sites

Background

  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
  • Experience in fast-growing operational environments
  • Regional or multi-country operational exposure within Africa
  • Fluent English required; French is an advantage
  • This is a high-impact operational leadership role for a strong HR professional capable of supporting organizational growth, operational stability, and leadership alignment across African operations.
