About This Role
The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring heavy-duty truck drivers and diesel mechanics to support the company’s transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and recruit heavy truck drivers and diesel mechanics through job portals, agencies, and direct outreach.
- Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, and verify licenses, experience, and technical skills .
- Coordinate with operations and workshop teams to understand manpower requirements .
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process , including job posting, interviews, and onboarding.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates and ensure fast hiring for urgent positions .
Requirements:
- Experience in recruiting blue-collar staff (drivers, mechanics, technicians).
- Knowledge of heavy-duty truck driver licensing requirements .
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and fill positions quickly.
- A KPI list for the recruiter (for example: 15 driver CVs per day, 10 interviews per week).
