About This Role

Job Summary

We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Receptionist for an AMER Centre in Dubai.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in an AMER or similar government service center in the UAE and possess strong knowledge of customer handling, token management, and basic understanding of visa and immigration-related services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome customers in a professional manner.
  • Manage the token system and customer flow efficiently.
  • Guide customers regarding AMER services such as visa applications, status changes, Emirates ID, entry permits, cancellations, etc.
  • Verify basic documents before directing customers to the concerned counters.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide accurate information about services and procedures.
  • Maintain reception area cleanliness and professionalism at all times.
  • Coordinate with typing staff, advisors, and floor manager for smooth operations.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to general inquiries.
  • Maintain daily visitor records and reports.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in an AMER Centre or similar UAE government service center (preferred).
  • Good knowledge of UAE visa and immigration services.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi is an advantage).
  • Well-groomed, presentable, and professional behavior.
  • Ability to handle pressure and manage customer flow.
  • Basic computer knowledge.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is an advantage).
