Design, develop, test, release, and maintain the client's cross-platform iOS and Android applications using React Native.
Application development
- Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
- Translate UX/UI designs into high-quality, accessible, bilingual mobile interfaces.
- Integrate applications with backend services, UAE PASS, and approved third-party services.
Security, testing, and release
- Implement mobile security controls in line with client policies and OWASP MASVS.
- Write automated unit and UI tests and participate in code reviews.
- Manage app store submissions, releases, versioning, and compliance with store policies under client developer accounts.
- Monitor app stability and performance and resolve defects and incidents.
Must-have skills
- React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, React hooks, and Redux or equivalent state management.
- Native module integration for iOS using Swift or Objective-C and Android using Kotlin or Java.
- REST/JSON API integration, offline capability, push notifications, and deep linking.
- Mobile security including secure storage, certificate pinning, and OWASP MASVS alignment.
- Integration with UAE PASS and government digital identity services.
- Automated testing with Jest, Detox, or equivalent, and mobile CI/CD with Fastlane or equivalent.
- App Store and Google Play publishing, versioning, and release management.
- Bilingual Arabic/English and RTL mobile UI implementation.
Nice to have
- Government or regulated-sector mobile app experience in the UAE.
- Experience with crash analytics and monitoring tools such as Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry.
- Mobile accessibility experience.
- Meta React Native / React Professional Certificate or equivalent mobile development certification.
Salary
- Salary listed as a maximum of AED 14,000; no pay cadence is specified.
