Rates Desk Trading Analyst | Multi-Strat Hedge Fund | Dubai

About This Role

We are working with a leading global multi-strategy hedge fund, who is seeking a Rates Trading Analyst to work directly under a PM in Dubai. This is a unique opportunity to work with a Senior PM running a sizeable book, within a pod seat with the opportunity to grow into a risk-taking role overtime.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the right-hand person to the PM
• Execute trades across G4 rates markets (US, UK, Europe, Japan), spanning cash and derivatives products.
• Work closely with the Portfolio Manager to implement trade ideas and optimise portfolio positioning.
• Support trade structuring, risk monitoring, and book optimisation.
• Participate in internal investment discussions and roundtables, contributing market insights and trade ideas.
• Gradually take on increased responsibility in risk-taking and idea generation, with a possible path toward a PM role.

Requirements:

• 5-6 years of experience in rates trading, ideally within a top-tier investment bank.
• Background in G4 rates markets, across either cash products or derivatives. Inflation-linked product experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical skillset with a solid understanding of macro drivers and rates dynamics.
• Excellent academic background.
• Highly motivated, hungry and resilient individual with a desire to progress into a risk-taking role.

Candidates can be relocated. Exceptional candidates could be London‑based initially.
