The role is based at Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital, a hospital serving the Northern Emirates.
Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures safely and accurately as requested by physicians.
- Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to safety and quality standards.
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and the ALARA principle to protect patients and staff.
- Explain procedures to patients and provide a positive, supportive experience.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Work with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to support patient care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in radiography, radiology technology, or a medical or diagnostic imaging program.
- Two years of experience after qualification in general radiology.
- Active UAE license as a Radiographer/Radiography Technologist or in Medical Imaging.
- Basic knowledge and application of computer tools and skills.
