Role Overview
Manage financial control of an eight-villa fit-out project.
Keep costs, variations, contractor valuations, and procurement within the approved project budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the project BOQ.
- Review contractor and subcontractor quotations and tenders.
- Monitor project budget and committed costs.
- Review monthly payment applications and verify completed work before payment.
- Evaluate variations and additional work; maintain a variation register.
- Prepare cost reports and monitor procurement costs.
- Identify potential cost overruns and compare actual costs against budget.
- Assist with contract administration and review the final account.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in construction or fit-out.
- Luxury residential project experience is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of BOQs, valuations, and variations.
- Strong Excel and cost-control skills.
- Dubai/UAE construction experience is preferred.
Employment
- Employment is described as part-time, project-based, with regular site visits.
Pay
- Pay is listed as AED 2,542.95–AED 10,000.00 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person; regular site visits are required.
