Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Quantity Surveyor Estimator
with a
Civil
or
Mechanical Engineering
- background to join our team.
- The candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
- The responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Prepare
- detailed cost estimates and BOQs
- for Civil and MEP projects based on drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Conduct
- quantity take-offs
- using drawings and project documentation.
- Analyse
- tender documents, scope of work, and contract conditions
- to identify cost risks and opportunities.
- Obtain and evaluate
- quotations from vendors and subcontractors
- to ensure competitive pricing.
- Prepare and submit
- tender proposals, cost plans, and commercial submissions
- within deadlines.
- Perform
- cost control and budget monitoring
- during project execution.
- Evaluate and certify
- contractor/subcontractor bills, variations, and claims
- .
- Prepare
- variation orders, cost impact assessments, and change management reports
- .
- Maintain accurate records of
- project costs, materials, and financial progress
- .
- Coordinate closely with
- project managers, engineers, procurement, and site teams
- .
- Assist in
- value engineering exercises
- to optimise cost without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with
- UAE construction standards, contract terms, and company policies
