Role overview

Quality assurance and construction

• Implement project quality systems and monitor contractor compliance with quality plans, inspection and test plans, method statements, and specifications.
• Conduct architectural inspections and audits; review submittals, mock-ups, technical submissions, shop drawings, and samples.
• Verify finishes and building envelope systems, including waterproofing, roofing, insulation, fire-rated assemblies, doors, windows, and façades.
• Check clean-room and mission-critical spaces and firestopping installations against relevant requirements.
• Identify quality issues and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken.

Data centre systems and coordination

• Verify architectural quality across data halls, control and technical rooms, generator and administration buildings, security facilities, and utility structures.
• Coordinate architectural interfaces with structural, MEP, and ICT disciplines and support operational resilience, commissioning, and readiness.

Inspections, records, and stakeholders

• Conduct surveillance, snagging, and final acceptance inspections; review non-conformance reports, site observations, quality reports, and corrective action plans.
• Track punch-list closure and handover records, and support quality dashboards and project reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, commissioning teams, and client representatives; participate in meetings and workshops.
• Assist the Quality Manager in meeting project quality objectives.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of construction-project quality assurance and quality control experience.
• 3–5 years of direct experience on hyperscale or Tier III/Tier IV data centres, mission-critical facilities, or high-tech industrial projects.
• Proven inspection experience across architectural finishes, building envelopes, waterproofing, roofing, clean rooms, and fire-rated assemblies.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and construction quality procedures.
• Construction supervision consultancy experience is preferred.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor, CQE, PMP, or equivalent certification is preferred.
