Role overview

Inspection and quality responsibilities

• Inspect construction, fit-out, maintenance, and refurbishment work, including apartments, villas, and other managed properties.
• Identify and document snags, defects, incomplete work, poor workmanship, and health and safety concerns; inspect architectural, civil, MEP, finishing, fixture, fitting, and installation work.
• Prepare detailed reports with photographs, locations, descriptions, and corrective actions; monitor contractor progress and verify completed rectifications through follow-up inspections.
• Coordinate outstanding work with contractors, maintenance, building management, and property management teams; conduct move-in, move-out, handover, and pre-handover inspections as required.
• Assess property condition and required remedial work; maintain records; escalate recurring quality issues, delays, and significant defects to the Property Management Director.
• Check compliance with agreed specifications and quality standards, provide contractor workmanship feedback, and support technical property quality-control inspections.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a snagging inspector, quality control inspector, site inspector, property inspector, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of construction, finishing, and property maintenance standards; good knowledge of MEP, civil, architectural, and finishing work.
• Experience identifying construction defects and assessing workmanship; ability to produce clear, detailed reports with photographic evidence.
• Strong attention to detail, methodical inspection approach, communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• UAE/Dubai property or construction experience is highly preferred.
• A valid UAE driving license and own vehicle are required.
