Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi.
The QA/QC Engineer will monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards.
Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing inspection and test plans, coordinating materials testing, documenting non-conformities, and supporting corrective and preventive actions.
The role involves conducting site inspections, quality audits, and technical reviews, as well as maintaining accurate quality records and reports.
The QA/QC Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives to drive continuous improvement and support safe, efficient project execution.
Qualifications
- Strong Quality Control skills, including site inspections, material checks, and verification of workmanship against drawings and specifications.
- With 5 YRS relevant experience
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance, including developing and implementing quality plans, procedures, and documentation systems.
- Experience in Quality Auditing, including internal audits, compliance checks, and follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Knowledge of Quality Management principles, standards, and best practices within the construction industry.
- Hands-on Inspection experience across structural, architectural, and MEP works, with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Familiarity with applicable construction codes, standards, and client specifications in the UAE market.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office and basic quality management tools.
- Effective communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced site environment.
- Relevant QA/QC certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, quality or inspection-related training) are an advantage.
- Currently based in UAE
