Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Construction Civil Foreman role based in Abu Dhabi.
The Construction Civil Foreman will supervise day-to-day construction activities, including coordinating site teams, trades, and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to specification.
Responsibilities include reading and interpreting drawings, planning daily tasks, organizing manpower, materials, and equipment, and monitoring work progress to meet quality and safety standards.
The role involves inspecting work areas, identifying and resolving site issues, reporting progress to project management, and maintaining accurate site records.
The Foreman will also support toolbox talks, enforce health and safety regulations, and collaborate closely with engineers, site supervisors, and clients’ representatives to keep projects running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Strong civil engineering knowledge, with experience in structural works, site execution, and understanding of drawings and specifications.
- Minimum 5 yrs relevant experience in construction
- Hands-on experience in carpentry and general finishing works, with the ability to guide and supervise skilled trades on site.
- Proficiency in quality control practices, including inspections, checklists, and ensuring compliance with project standards and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operations and coordination, including safe deployment, basic troubleshooting, and efficient utilization on construction sites.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, engineers, and client representatives, and for preparing clear daily reports.
- Proven experience as a Civil Foreman or similar supervisory role on building or infrastructure projects, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
- Good knowledge of HSE practices, risk identification, and safe work procedures on construction sites.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; relevant trade or site management certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, manage multiple priorities, and respond quickly to changing project needs.
- Currently based in UAE
- With Valid driving License in UAE
