The employer is hiring a Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Civil Engineer for civil construction projects in Dubai, UAE.

Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for civil construction projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to assess quantities and costs.
- Prepare interim payment applications, progress claims, and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and material quantities.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare cost comparisons.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors on costs and variations.
- Prepare variation claims, supporting documents, and commercial reports.
- Assist with tenders, rate analysis, and contract documentation.
- Verify completed-work quantities and maintain records of costs, invoices, payments, and contracts.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant Quantity Surveyor experience with a construction company in Dubai, UAE.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction, BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation.
- Familiarity with UAE construction practices, contract documentation, and variation procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD; quantity surveying or estimation software experience is an advantage.
- Analytical, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills; able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple requirements.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,500–4,500 per month, based on experience and qualifications.

- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
